Isaiah 53:8-10

⁸ By oppression and judgment He was taken away;
And as for His generation, who considered
That He was cut off out of the land of ^[a]the living,
^(A)That for the transgression of my people, striking was due to Him?
⁹ So His grave was assigned with wicked men,
Yet He was with a ^(B)rich man in His death,
^(C)Because He had ^(D)done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.

¹⁰ But ^[b]Yahweh was pleased
To ^(E)crush Him, ^[c](F)putting Him to grief;
If You would place His soul as a guilt ^(G)offering,
He will see ^(H)His seed,
He will prolong His days,
And the ^[d]good ^(I)pleasure of Yahweh will succeed in His hand.
